Merry (white) Christmas

I hope everyone is having a very Merry Christmas and is staying warm!

2 Months Old

Today is Quinn’s 2 month birthday…and Tay Tay’s birthday too!  Quinn’s was pretty good until she got shots at her doctors appointment. The pout lip was in full force! It was very sad but she was a trooper and didn’t cry for long.

2 month stats:

• Weight: 12lbs
• Height: 23 in
• Head circumference: 15.5 in
• Another A+…minus a little head flattening:) She loves to stare to the right but we are working on it!

Sweet Quinn: We love you so much! This past month you have brought so many smiles to mine and your Daddy’s faces! You have the sweetest smiles and you are starting to giggle a little. You really like to talk and squeal! You love to lay on your play mat and kick your legs and use your go-go gadget arms:)

Your favorite thing to do is still stretch! When we get you up in the morning we have to wait to change your diaper while you get nice and stretched out! We are very appreciative because you have started to sleep “through the night” (most of the time). You go to bed around 9pm and wake up at 5am but you usually go back to sleep for a little while. You still love your swing but your not sleeping in it as much as you used to. You love to be held and your favorite place to sleep is on your Momma and Daddy’s chest.

You don’t dig tummy time but you are so strong and are going for about 5 min. before you start to get dramatic.

Over the last month you went to your first wedding, Eli and Courtney’s. You made it through the seating of the mothers before you started screaming:( I had to run out and in my panic I forgot the diaper bag but DT rescued us! This month we also saw your first real smiles, you went to your first restaurant (and were very good), you had your first road trip but your not the biggest fan of your car seat!

Your first Thanksgiving! 

My favorite outfit this month! You wore it when we celebrated Tay Tay’s birthday. Love the snakeskin pants…a girl after my own heart!

Sweet Smiles

Quinn has started to smile real smiles lately-instead of just when she passes gas:) Shane and I just can't get enough!!

Well, of course I posted 1 month pictures before newborn…oh well. Milano Photography came to the house to take pictures of Quinn. It was a long morning but they got some great photos. Here are some of our favorites:)

1 Month Old

On November 12th Quinn turned 1 month old! It has gone by so fast, but it also seems like forever ago that we were in the hospital. She has already grown so much this past month.

1 Month Check Up Stats:

• 10 lbs 1oz (Dr Newton nicknamed you Quinn the mighty!)
• 21 3/4 in
• A+ on your report card

Miss Quinn: You are a milk monster and love to eat! When you take your bottle you get down like your life depends on it (well…it kind of does). You have had some trouble “spitting up” (Momma calls it throw up!) so we have to slow you down when you eat. When we take the bottle away, you are NOT happy and when we make you stop to burp your attitude comes out in full force! You also exhibit our family trait of snorting when you get really angry:) We are still squeezing you in your newborn diapers but you have already started to outgrow some of your newborn PJ’s and I just can’t believe you have already grown that much! Your most favorite thing to do right now is stretch! You love kicking your legs and most often your arms are up on both sides of your head. Your Daddy and I love watching you stretch and grunt! Here are some things from this month~

You had your first bath at home. Momma and Daddy were a little nervous so Grana helped us out:) You took it like a champ! Then came your second bath and you were not a fan! But, we think you’re going to be a water bug because now you love taking a bath!

Here you are with DT on your 1 week birthday. You love to sit up like a big girl and show us how strong you are! You can also be quite fussy but you’re no match for DT and his power rocking:)

It’s your first Halloween! Your outfit said “Daddy’s Under My Spell”

You got a visit  from one our favorite boys, Lawrence! Tay Tay went to pick him up. He brought you a pair of PJ’s, a cute little outfit and a super sweet card. He is your current BFF.

You went to your first brunch with all our Bonham gals. You were such a good girl!

 

We love you a ton and can’t wait to see what the next month brings!

The Waiting Game

Well, Quinn is doing things on her own time! Due date was yesterday and she's still not here! We are all so ready to meet her. Waiting is making the boys tired

Mexico

Momma and Daddy took the kids to Mexico this summer. We had a great time! These pictures do not do it justice!! We all forgot our cameras and these are from Taylor's phone. Think there was a little sunscreen on the lens for the ocean pics. The water was beautiful and we found some great seashells. We had such a great time together and had great food!!

It's a Hard Life

Sampson feels that we are here only to assist him in finding ultimate comfort during his nap times (which is most of the time). He also feels that this big bump on my stomach is just one great pillow! Poor guy has no idea what's coming in October!

Also when we were in Mt. Home Jamie took maternity pictures for us. As always she did such a fabulous job! She is so talented and I can't wait until she gets to start taking pictures of Baby Quinn!!

Mt. Home

Well, I told Jamie she needed to start blogging more and that was a little like the pot calling the kettle black...so here I go. (and I'm trying to get into the habit when baby girl Collins comes) We just got back from Mt. Home. We had a good visit and got to see this cute little guy!

Little Brother

Well... Not so little anymore. Cody had to come down for a class so he got to stay with us for a couple of days. He's a hoot!
